We hold in our hearts those dear to us who are no longer suffering the effects of sickle cell disease. Our hearts and prayers go out to the families and friends of these individuals listed, as well as those not listed.
May their lives be remembered and their fight to live in spite of sickle cell disease be a reminder to us all that every day is not promised to us and we should live each day to the fullest.
