Our community project, "Camp Gibbous", is the WINNER of the 2017 “Helping U Help Your Community” competition, for $20,000 from UCLA. We received a total of 592 votes!! It was enough to get us the top spot in votes. Thank you to all who took the time to vote and support Sickle Cell Disease and our newest program "Camp Gibbous", a camp for specifically for Teens/Adolescents with SCD, transitioning from pediatric to adult medical care. We are so very excited to share this news and we look forward to continuing to provide services and resources to families affected by SCD. 😄GO CAMP GIBBOUS!!
