"Gibbous": more than half, but less than fully illuminated.

Used to describe the Moon or a planet. A phase of the moon following a crescent moon.

The members of SC Crew decided that they wanted their camp to be called Camp Gibbous because it is the next phase after the crescent moon. They felt they were in transition from childhood to adulthood just like the moon and their teen camp should reflect that.

Camp activities to include:

Archery, Zip Line, Ropes Course, and more!
Active participation in the SC Crew Transition Program required.

The camp is located at :

The Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center
2 Irvine Park Road
Orange, CA 92869
